Nannies and Babysitters are able to respond to job advertisements posted and contact parents directly by sending parents an email through the website.
Find A Nanny on-line is a quick and inexpensive way of finding help in your home and is aimed at families with children of every age in every area.
It also aims to help the thousands of Nannies and Babysitters in Australia who are looking for work.

Once you have become a member of the website by joining online you will automatically gain access to the individual profiles of Nannies and Babysitters who either live in your area or are prepared to travel to your area in order to care for your children.

Families are able to also chose if they would like to post a job advertisement by using our job noticeboard feature.

DOES THE SITE OFFER BOTH NANNIES AND BABYSITTERS?
Yes, www.findanannyonline.com.au is a site aimed at introducing parents to BOTH experienced Nannies and Babysitters.
While most Nannies are trained and qualified in their field, all Nannies have a wealth of childcare experience.
Babysitters are not generally qualified in childcare, but are experienced in working with children on a casual part time basis.
Many experienced Nannies will also be available as a Babysitter for evenings and weekends on the Find A Nanny on-line website.
HOW CAN I FIND A NANNY OR BABYSITTER WHO LIVES LOCALLY?
The list of Nannies and Babysitters will be shown in geographical order.
Once a Parent has entered their postcode, the Nannies and Babysitters matched to this area will appear.
In the event that there are no Nannies or Babysitters matching the criteria requested the www.findanannyonline.com.au website will list Child Carers to contact in the areas closest to Parents and their family.
HOW CAN I FIND THE MOST RECENT LISTED CARERS?
The website will list Nannies and Babysitters profiles in order of geographic location and also in order of those most recently updated.
The right hand side of the Nanny/Babysitter profile also displays how many weeks ago the Child Carer updated their details.
HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN THE NANNIES AND BABYSITTERS ARE AVAILABLE?
All Nannies and Babysitters who register with the site will have their availability clearly marked in the categories listed (eg: full time, part time, daytime, evening etc) which is available to view when a parent has logged into the site,conducted a search and clicked the view more details button.
This will make it easy to identify which carers are available and when.
WHAT ARE THE HOURLY RATES?
Nannies and Babysitters will display their rate of pay alongside their profile to view.
www.findanannyonline.com.au suggests members should expect the following rates:
$12-16hr for experienced evening babysitters.
$15-22hr for Nannies available during the day, with the lower rates applicable for Child Carers with less experience and references.
The top end of the market should apply to experienced and qualified Nannies who have been working in the industry for a number of years.
CAN I REFERENCE CHECK THE NANNY/BABYSITTER?
Absolutely - All Nannies and Babysitters are asked to provide reference details for parents to contact directly.

DOES FAN SCREEN NANNIES AND BABYSITTERS ON THE SITE?
www.findanannyonline.com.au acts as an advertising portal between parents and Nannies/Babysitters in their area and is NOT a screening agency.
Nanny and Babysitter profiles will clearly state which Child Carers have working with children checks and all Nannies and Babysitters are asked to provide a minimum of two references to contact.
Reference checking tips are also provided in the parent resources section,located on our home page, to assist parents in making the right choice when selecting a Nanny or Babysitter.
HOW IS THIS WEBSITE DIFFERENT TO A NANNY AGENCY?
Membership of www.findanannyonline.com.au is a quick and inexpensive way of finding childcare help in your local area.
The site acts as an advertising portal only and does not offer the personal screening service that is provided by a traditional Nanny Agency who will recruit, select, personally interview and screen candidates and offer working with children checks.
An Agency will also conduct verbal reference checking on your behalf.

* keep your profile as up to date as possible:
It is essential for Nannies and Babysitters to keep their profile details as up to date as possible for a number of reasons.
Profiles are displayed in order of geographical location and then in order of the profile most recently updated.
In order to feature as close to the top of the pages displayed in a parents search for a ChildCarer, Nannies and Babysitters will need to regularly log into their account and update their availability and details.
www.findanannyonline.com.au will automatically make any profile "invisible" that has not been updated for a 12 week period.
FAN on-line will send out a reminder email to Nannies and Babysitters 2 weeks prior to their accounts being made "invisible" as a reminder to encourage them to update their details.
Alternatively, Nannies and Babysitters are able to log in and click on the "visible" icon at the bottom of their registration details page if their account has previously been made "invisible".
